1 AN ACT concerning health.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Hospital Licensing Act is amended by adding
5Section 6.34 as follows:
6 (210 ILCS 85/6.34 new)
7 Sec. 6.34. Prescription medication; administration to
8patients. A hospital licensed under this Act is prohibited
9from preventing the administration of a prescription
10medication to a patient if the patient's treating physician
11has prescribed the medication.
