1 AN ACT concerning criminal law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The County Jail Act is amended by changing
5Section 2 as follows:
6 (730 ILCS 125/2) (from Ch. 75, par. 102)
7 Sec. 2. The The Sheriff of each county in this State shall
8be the warden of the jail of the county, and have the custody
9of all prisoners in the jail, except when otherwise provided in
10the "County Department of Corrections Act".
