AN ACT CONCERNING THE RECENT INCREASE IN STATE FEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to repeal the fee increases implemented as part of the current biennial budget and that such fees be evaluated as of the last time they were increased in order to index the amount of such fees to present day values through the application of the consumer price index, provided no fee shall be increased by more than one hundred per cent.
Statement of Purpose:
To reassess the manner in which state fees have been increased.
