February 13, 2023

An act to amend Section 38042 of the Education Code, relating to drinking water.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 443, as introduced, Gonzalez. Drinking water: schools.
Existing law requires school districts and charter schools to allow pupils, teachers, and staff to bring and carry water bottles, except as provided.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
