AN ACT

 

Amending Title 20, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 20-241; relating to health insurance.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 20, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 20-241, to read:

START_STATUTE20-241.  Health insurance; dependent coverage; definition

A.  If a health care insurer offers dependent coverage, the insurer shall make the coverage available until the child reaches twenty‑six years of age.

B.  For the purposes of this section, "health care insurer" has the same meaning prescribed in section 20‑2501. END_STATUTE
