A BILL to amend and reenact §29-3E-10 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to fireworks safety; permitting governing board of municipality or county to regulate the use of consumer fireworks within its boundaries; and prohibiting governing board of municipality or county from prohibiting use of consumer fireworks within its boundaries.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 3E. FIREWORKS SAFETY.
§29-3E-10. Local municipalities’ and counties’ regulation of consumer fireworks.
This article does not
affect the authority of the governing body of a municipality or a county to
prohibit or regulate the use of consumer fireworks within its
boundaries.
