A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §7-1-3tt, relating to requiring posting of the Ten Commandments in every courthouse.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 3. COUNTY PROPERTY.


§7-1-3tt. Duty to post Ten Commandments in every courthouse.


In addition to all other powers and duties now conferred by law upon county commissions, each commission is hereby required to post the Ten Commandments in its county courthouse.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require posting of the Ten Commandments in each courthouse.
