A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Commissioner of Agriculture to promulgate a legislative rule relating to farmers markets.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 9. Authorization for Miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Commissioner of Agriculture.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 27, 2018, authorized under the authority of §19-35-4 and 5 of this code, modified by the Commissioner of Agriculture to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on November 26, 2018, relating to the Commissioner of Agriculture (farmers markets, 61 CSR 38), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Commissioner of Agriculture to promulgate a legislative rule relating to farmers markets.
