Referred to the Committee on Technology and Infrastructure then the Committee on Rules

Urging that the Commissioner of Highways designate the completion of the four-lane highway from Pritchard, West Virginia, to Williamson, West Virginia, to be a high-priority project.

Whereas, The completion of this road project will support economic development for southwest West Virginia; and

Whereas, The resources of southern West Virginia can be better utilized with improved transportation; and 

Whereas, The people of southern West Virginia are ready to embrace the economic opportunities that come with increased access and mobility; therefore be it.

Resolved by the Legislature:

That the Commissioner of Highways designate the completion of the four-lane highway from Prichard, West Virginia, to Williamson, West Virginia, a high-priority project; and be it.

Further Resolved, That the Clerk of the House forward a copy of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways.
