A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §12-4-18, relating to empowering the Treasurer to invest in gold and silver.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
In addition to the other powers and duties set forth in this article, the Treasurer may invest in gold and silver. These investments shall be done in accordance with the provisions otherwise set forth in this article.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to empower the Treasurer to invest in gold and silver.
