A BILL to amend and reenact §64-8-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Division of Motor Vehicles to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Collection of Tax on the Sale of a Vehicle.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 8. Authorization for Department of Transportation to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-8-1. Division of Motor Vehicles

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 20, 2021, authorized under the authority of §11-15-3c of this code, modified by the Division of Motor Vehicles to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on August 30, 2021, relating to the Division of Motor Vehicles  (Collection of Tax on the Sale of a Vehicle , 91 CSR 09), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Division of Motor Vehicles to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Collection of Tax on the Sale of a Vehicle.
