Summary

The purpose of this bill is to require coal prospectors to record certain geological information and to report said information to the department of environmental protection. The bill also provides for the sharing of geological information recorded by coal and well operators with the state geological and economic survey. Finally, the bill provides for the filing of core samples taken by coal prospectors and well operators and the submission of said samples to the state geological and economic survey.
