The purpose of this bill is to require state entities, local entities and law enforcement agencies to cooperate with the enforcement of immigration laws. The bill provides for definitions. The bill requires that entities and agencies not prohibit the enforcement of immigration laws or cooperation with other governmental agencies to enforce immigration laws. The bill provides for complaint procedures. The bill provides for mandatory duties regarding immigration detainers. The bill provides for actions to ensure compliance. The bill provides for ineligibility for state funds. The bill provides for rulemaking authority for the State Auditor. The bill provides for mandatory agreements.
