Summary

The purpose of this bill is to prohibit the establishment of new methadone treatment programs and clinics in this state except for programs and clinics operated as comprehensive community mental health centers and to require all private and community mental health center methadone treatment programs to monitor each patient's pharmacy registry each month in an effort to prevent the practice of doctor-shopping.
