Summary

The purpose of this bill is to enact the Robin W. Ames Memorial Act, which provides for enhanced penalties for unlawfully using electronic communication devices while driving; creating new penalties including community service, misdemeanor jail time and creating a felony for serious injury or death; and revising what constitutes a violation of unlawful use of an electronic communication device.
