Summary

The purpose of this bill is to modify laws relating to physician assistants, including modifying board membership, substituting “collaborating” for “supervising” physician, define terms, modify the prescriptive authority of physician assistants, eliminating the continuous national certification requirement, prohibiting an insurance plan from limiting the practice on physician assistants; adding requirements to practice agreement, granting physician assistants signatory authority on certain forms and making conforming amendments.
