Delegate Ellington moves to amend SB11 on page 4, Section 18-5-45a, line 57, following the word "education" and the period at the end of subsection (d) by inserting the following two sentences:

 

If an employee from whom prorated salary or hourly pay was withheld subsequently returns to work and completes his or her obligation for a 200-day minimum employment term including 180 instructional days, the county board shall pay the withheld salary or pay to the employee, which may be paid as a lump sum payment. Nothing in this subsection shall cause the pay per pay period of an employee who continues to work during a concerted work stoppage or strike to change.
