SENATE BILL NO. 682 Offered January 20, 2016 A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 33.2-257.2 and by adding in Chapter 26 of Title 33.2 a section numbered 33.2-2612, relating to bridge or tunnel construction in Hampton Roads; multimodal component. ---------- Patron-- Miller ---------- Referred to Committee on Transportation ----------

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 33.2-257.2 and by adding in Chapter 26 of Title 33.2 a section numbered 33.2-2612 as follows:

§ 33.2-257.2. Projects in Hampton Roads.

Any new construction or expansion project on a bridge or tunnel in Planning District 23 by the Department shall include a multimodal component.

§ 33.2-2612. Construction with multimodal component.

Any new construction or expansion project on a bridge or tunnel by the Commission shall include a multimodal component.
