A BILL to amend and reenact the second enactment of Chapter
390 and the second enactment of Chapter 1130 of the Acts of Assembly of 2020,
relating to concealed handgun permits; demonstration of competence; effective

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the second enactment of Chapter 390 and the second
enactment of Chapter 1130 of the Acts of Assembly of 2020 are amended and
reenacted as follows:
2. That the provisions of this act shall become effective
on [ January ] [ July ] 1, [ 2021 2022 ] [2021 ] .
2. That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its
passage.
