Senate Amendments in [ ] -- February 5, 2019
A BILL to direct the [ Department of Environmental Quality
and the ] Department of Education [ to coordinate with the Department of
Environmental Quality ] to update certain sixth grade science curriculum.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. §1. The [ Department of Environmental
Quality and the ] Department of Education shall [ coordinate
with the Department of Environmental Quality to ] update the
"Window into a Green Virginia" curriculum developed by the
Departments for sixth grade science to include a unit on the benefits,
including the energy benefits, of recycling and reuse.
