CHAPTER 165 An Act to amend Chapter 402 of the Acts of Assembly of 2016 by adding a second enactment, relating to local option for timing of municipal elections; effective date. [S 1304] Approved February 23, 2017

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That Chapter 402 of the Acts of Assembly of 2016 is amended by adding a second enactment as follows:

2. That the provisions of this act shall be retroactively effective beginning on July 1, 2000.
