WHEREAS, the Montclair Property Owners Association was incorporated on May 21, 1969, and celebrates its 50th year of service to the community in 2019; and

WHEREAS, the Montclair Property Owners Association was the first planned community in Prince William County; and

WHEREAS, the Montclair Property Owners Association represents approximately 3,800 homes surrounding a 108-acre lake; and

WHEREAS, the Montclair Property Owners Association's mission is to enrich the quality of life for all residents and preserve the natural beauty of its community, while operating in a cost effective manner; and

WHEREAS, the Montclair Property Owners Association hosts a variety of community events, including a Montclair Day, an Independence Day celebration, Triathlon, Armed Forces Day Lantern Launch, Oktoberfest, Earth Day Cleanup; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That the Montclair Property Owners Association hereby be commended on the occasion of its 50th anniversary; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the Montclair Property Owners Association as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the organization's service to the residents of Prince William County.
