HOUSE BILL NO. 358 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Education on January 29, 2024) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Simonds) A BILL to require the Department of Education to update its Voluntary Registration Health and Safety Checklist.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. The Department of Education shall update its Voluntary Registration Health and Safety Checklist for any family day home that is voluntarily registered pursuant to §22.1-289.015 of the Code of Virginia to include safe sleep practices.
