Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 10.1-202.3 as follows:
§10.1-202.3. Discounted rental and service fees; military and veterans.
The Department shall establish a policy that entitles (i) the bearer of acceptable identification showing that the person is on active duty military service or is a military veteran and (ii) the spouse and children of such person, when accompanying the bearer of such identification, to receive a 50 percent discount on cabin, yurt, and camping site rental fees; shelter rental fees; parking, boat launch, and horse trailer fees; swimming fees; and equipment rental fees.
