Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. That the Board of Housing and Community Development is directed to revise the Uniform Statewide Building Code (§36-97 et seq. of the Code of Virginia) to provide an exemption from any requirements in the energy efficiency standards established pursuant to 13VAC5-63-264 of the Virginia Administrative Code and the 2018 Virginia Energy Conservation Code for the following use and occupancy classifications pursuant to Chapter 3 of the 2018 Virginia Construction Code: (i) Section 306, Factory Group F; (ii) Section 311, Storage Group S; and (iii) Section 312, Utility and Miscellaneous Group U.
