Summary

Marriage lawful regardless of sex of parties. Clarifies that a marriage between two parties is lawful regardless of the sex of such parties, provided that such marriage is not otherwise prohibited by the laws of the Commonwealth. The bill also provides that religious organizations or members of the clergy acting in their religious capacity shall have the right to refuse to perform any marriage.
