Summary

Nonprofit corporations; residential address. Provides that a nonprofit corporation with a registered office at a residential address shall be permitted, in any filing submitted to the State Corporation Commission pursuant to the Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act that requires the residential address of the nonprofit corporation or the residential address of its registered agent or any board members, to submit a post office box address instead of a residential address as part of such filing. The bill prohibits the Commission from disclosing any such residential address without prior approval from the nonprofit corporation.
