Summary
A resolution supporting the mission and goals of 2016 "National Crime Victims' Rights Week", which include increasing public awareness of the rights, needs, concerns of, and services available to assist victims and survivors of crime in the United States. Expresses support for the mission and goals of 2016 National Crime Victims' Rights Week, which include promoting awareness of: (1) the impact of crime on victims, survivors, and their families; (2) the challenges to achieving justice; and (3) the many solutions to meet such challenges. Recognizes that crime victims and survivors and their families should be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
