Supporting the designation of July 2017 as Uterine Fibroids Awareness Month. Expresses support for the goals of Uterine Fibroids Awareness Month. (Uterine fibroids are common in women and can cause pain, bleeding, and infertility.) Recognizes the disparity in incidence rates of uterine fibroids in African-American and Hispanic women, and the need for greater research, treatment, and care options.
