Summary
This resolution expresses support for (1) the goals and ideals of National Healthy Schools Day, and (2) a national commitment to preventing the deterioration of our schools and to fixing our crumbling school facilities. The resolution (1) recognizes the importance of improving our children's aging school buildings; and (2) encourages state and local governments to coordinate their efforts to assist local schools, and to publicize the importance of healthful learning environments.
