War Powers Amendments of 2017 War Powers Resolution This joint resolution rewrites the War Powers Resolution. Congressional consultation procedures are included concerning the participation of U.S. Armed Forces in certain military operations of the United Nations. Additional conditions are provided concerning emergency use of the Armed Forces.
