Summary

To amend the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to provide that the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation may only be removed for certain causes, and for other purposes. This bill amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to authorize the President to remove the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in certain circumstances.
