Summary

Addresses security threats to federal elections. Specifically, the bill authorizes grants to states for election technology and security, requires election poll books to meet voting system standards, allows for expedited security clearances for certain state election officials and officials with the Election Assistance Commission, requires federal entities to share information with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regarding election cybersecurity incidents, and requires DHS to share information with state and local officials regarding election cybersecurity incidents.
