SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 99
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Albert Treviño for his many achievements; and
 
         WHEREAS, Albert Treviño is a native of Brownsville and a
  graduate of Brownsville High School, where he was a standout
  athlete on the golf team, which went undefeated while he was a
  member; he has remained an avid golfer, and he finished in the top
  10 in the ESPN Golf Challenge Nationals in Las Vegas; and
 
         WHEREAS, He served the nation with distinction in the
  United States Air Force and the United States Air Force Reserve;
  while serving in the military, he married his beloved wife, Sarah
  Dianne Aucoin; and
 
         WHEREAS, Mr. Treviño enjoyed a long and successful
  business career; he first worked with Halliburton and then with
  the Western Company of North America, where he rose through the
  ranks into executive sales; the company was later acquired by BJ
  Services, which subsequently merged with Baker Hughes, and he
  retired in 2015 after 48 years of hard work; and
 
         WHEREAS, Albert Treviño is an exemplary citizen, and it is
  truly fitting that he receive special recognition; now,
  therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Albert Treviño
  on his many achievements and extend to him best wishes for
  continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
