	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 932
	WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, William Roney
	Reagan and Kathryn Anne Dearing made a lifetime commitment to one
	another, and their mutual trust has been amply rewarded, for they
	are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on June 10, 2017; and

	WHEREAS, High school sweethearts William and Kathryn were
	married on June 10, 1967, at the First Baptist Church in their
	hometown of Jacksboro, Texas; and

	WHEREAS, They both graduated from The University of Texas,
	and Mrs. Reagan worked in the Spring Branch Independent School
	District while Mr. Reagan earned his doctor of dental surgery
	degree at The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston; and

	WHEREAS, They moved to Clovis, New Mexico, during
	Dr. Reagan's service in the United States Air Force, and they
	settled in Longview, Texas, in 1971; Dr. Reagan continues to
	practice dentistry in the community, and Mrs. Reagan is retired
	from her career as the treatment coordinator and office manager
	at Sherman and Sherman Orthodontics; and

	WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Reagan have been blessed with a
	wonderful family; their three children and six grandchildren are
	a source of great pride and joy; and

	WHEREAS, William and Kathryn Reagan are respected and
	admired throughout the community, and the loving relationship
	they share is truly an inspiration to all who know them; now,
	therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
	Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Dr. and Mrs. William
	R. Reagan on the grand occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary;
	and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
	them as a memento of this special day in their lives.
