| WHEREAS, Niegel Stevens is being honored by the Boy Scout | ||
| program for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, a rank achieved by | ||
| only a small percentage of boys in the program; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This fine young man has displayed outstanding | ||
| leadership through the planning and execution of a service | ||
| project that has benefited his community; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Niegel advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot, | ||
| Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching the rank of | ||
| Eagle Scout by following the principles of the Scout oath and | ||
| promise; and | ||
| WHEREAS, By becoming an Eagle Scout, this personable young | ||
| man has brought great distinction to himself, his family, his | ||
| troop, his community, and his state; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Niegel is an exceptional representative of the | ||
| State of Texas and a sterling example to all who have the good | ||
| fortune to know him; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th | ||
| Legislature, hereby commend Niegel Stevens on earning the rank of | ||
| Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his great achievement; and, | ||
| be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| Eagle Scout Stevens as an expression of high regard from the | ||
| Texas Senate. | ||
