SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 170
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Kensen Shi, who has been named the individual winner of
  the Siemens Foundation's annual mathematics, science, and
  technology competition for high school students; and
 
         WHEREAS,
 
 
 
 
         WHEREAS, The algorithm is called the Lazy Toggle
  Probabilistic Roadmap Method and combines two earlier algorithms
  into a more effective algorithm that eliminates steps used in the
  other formulas; practical applications of the method could
  include such uses as driverless cars, factory robotics, and video
  game design; and
 
         WHEREAS,

         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
