WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
recognize Kensen Shi, who has been named the individual winner of | ||
the Siemens Foundation's annual mathematics, science, and | ||
technology competition for high school students; and | ||
WHEREAS, | ||
WHEREAS, The algorithm is called the Lazy Toggle | ||
Probabilistic Roadmap Method and combines two earlier algorithms | ||
into a more effective algorithm that eliminates steps used in the | ||
other formulas; practical applications of the method could | ||
include such uses as driverless cars, factory robotics, and video | ||
game design; and | ||
