AN ACT
  relating to the operation of certain child-care facilities during
  an appeal of a suspension or denial of a license, certification,
  registration, or listing.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 42.072, Human Resources Code, is amended
  by adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows:
         (d-1)  A person may not operate a facility or family home
  during an appeal of a suspension or denial of a license,
  certification, registration, or listing.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
