| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 42.072, Human Resources Code, is amended | ||
| by adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows: | ||
| (d-1) A person may not operate a facility or family home | ||
| during an appeal of a suspension or denial of a license, | ||
| certification, registration, or listing. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. | ||
