relating to the repeal of certain riders for the Texas Medical Board | ||
and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists from the | ||
General Appropriations Act that are contingent upon the approval of | ||
certain Acts continuing those agencies during the 85th Regular | ||
Session. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. The following riders to S.B. 1, Acts of the 85th | ||
Legislature, Regular Session, 2017 (the General Appropriations | ||
Act), are repealed: | ||
(1) Rider 6 following the appropriations to the Texas | ||
Medical Board (page VIII-35); and | ||
(2) Rider 2 following the appropriations to the Texas | ||
State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (page VIII-51). | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the | ||
legislative session. |
