relating to the inclusion of natural gas as a public facility for a | ||
public facility corporation. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 303, Local Government | ||
Code, is amended by adding Section 303.007 to read as follows: | ||
Sec. 303.007. NATURAL GAS AS PUBLIC FACILITY. Natural gas | ||
purchased by a corporation for resale to a local government under an | ||
interlocal cooperation contract described by Section 791.025, | ||
Government Code, between the sponsor and the local government is | ||
considered a public facility for the purposes of this chapter. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
