R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the untimely death |
|
of Ricco Diaman Delgado of McAllen, who passed away on February 25, |
|
2017, at the age of 32; and |
|
WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of McAllen, Ricco Delgado was |
|
the son of district judge Rudy Delgado and Diana Delgado; after |
|
graduating from Nikki Rowe High School in 2003, he received a |
|
bachelor's degree from St. Edward's University in 2009, and he went |
|
on to complete his law degree magna cum laude from Texas Southern |
|
University in May 2015; he passed the bar exam two months later and |
|
embarked on a career in law, serving as an assistant criminal |
|
district attorney for Hidalgo County; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Delgado was passionate about spending time in |
|
the outdoors, and he took pleasure in teaching his son, Nathan, |
|
about ethical hunting and fishing practices; he was blessed with a |
|
large and loving family, and his charisma and sense of humor made |
|
every gathering all the more enjoyable; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although his days were far too few, Ricco Delgado |
|
brought joy and laughter into the lives of countless people, and |
|
those he leaves behind will always cherish their memories of the |
|
happy times spent in his company; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Ricco Diaman Delgado |
|
and extend deepest condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|
parents, Rudy and Diana Delgado; to his son, Nathan Liam Delgado; to |
|
his brothers, Rudy and Ryan Delgado; and to his many other relatives |
|
and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Ricco |
|
Delgado. |
