WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced | ||
by a great and enduring love, Jack and Barbara Pallick of Midland | ||
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 1, 2011; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Pallick were united in matrimony in | ||
Traverse City, Michigan, in 1961; through the years, they have | ||
nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with | ||
the addition of their children, Pamela Kuch, Penney Courville, and | ||
Piper Gals, as well as their three grandchildren; and | ||
WHEREAS, Residents of Midland since 1972, Mr. and Mrs. | ||
Pallick are active members of the community of faith at First United | ||
Methodist Church; and | ||
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past | ||
five decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant | ||
in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love | ||
has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with | ||
grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Jack and | ||
Barbara Pallick on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to | ||
them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it | ||
further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Pallick as an expression of high regard by | ||
the Texas House of Representatives. |
