| WHEREAS, Las Palmas Healthcare Center, an assisted living | ||
| facility in McAllen, was recently honored with the Public | ||
| Information and Education Award; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Recognizing accomplishments in media relations and | ||
| community education, the tribute was presented by the Texas Health | ||
| Care Association, a professional advocacy group for members of the | ||
| long-term health care industry; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Las Palmas Healthcare Center has demonstrated a | ||
| commitment to improving the quality of life for senior citizens, | ||
| and its dedication to this vital and ever-growing portion of the | ||
| population is making an immeasurable difference in the community it | ||
| serves; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Las Palmas | ||
| Healthcare Center on earning the Public Information and Education | ||
| Award from the Texas Health Care Association and extend to all those | ||
| associated with the facility sincere best wishes for continued | ||
| success with their important efforts; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
