R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Jacey Haiduk of the White Deer High School FFA
  chapter was presented with the Lone Star FFA Degree at the 89th
  annual Texas FFA State Convention held July 10-14, 2017, in Corpus
  Christi; and
         WHEREAS, The highest degree of membership awarded at the
  state level, the Lone Star FFA Degree recognizes members who have
  distinguished themselves by demonstrating exceptional commitment
  to the organization as well as outstanding leadership skills; in
  addition to completing the agricultural science course
  requirements, recipients must also maintain a supervised
  agricultural experience program, perform community service, and
  participate in a number of events, conventions, meetings, and
  activities above the chapter level; and
         WHEREAS, This exemplary young Texan has brought great pride
  to her family, school, and community, and she may indeed look
  forward with optimism and anticipation to the myriad opportunities
  that lie ahead; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Jacey Haiduk
  on her receipt of the Lone Star FFA Degree and extend to her sincere
  best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Haiduk as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
