R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A full and productive life drew to a close with the
  passing of Robbie Inez Risinger of Arlington on February 6, 2012, at
  the age of 92; and
         WHEREAS, Born and raised in Blossom, Robbie Risinger studied
  at East Texas State University, earning a master's degree in
  education; she and her husband, Lewis, began their careers in
  teaching and administration in the Arlington Independent School
  District in 1955, and she went on to teach at Blanton and Wimbish
  Elementary Schools for 32 years; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Risinger was a woman of faith who attended
  First Baptist Church of Arlington for more than half a century; she
  loved to visit new places, and after retiring, she and her husband
  traveled in their recreational vehicle to 48 states; she delighted
  in time spent with her friends from work and from her church; and
         WHEREAS, The proud mother of a son, Carey Don Risinger, Mrs.
  Risinger also welcomed into her family two grandsons, Cole and
  Cade; she was predeceased by her husband in 1992; and
         WHEREAS, Robbie Risinger possessed a generosity of spirit
  that expressed itself in myriad ways, and countless lives were
  touched by her warmth and kindness; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Robbie Inez
  Risinger and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family:
  to her son, Carey Don Risinger, and his wife, Vicki; to her
  grandsons, Cole Risinger and his wife, Anndi, and Cade Risinger; to
  her grandsons' mother, Barbara Stovall; and to her other relatives
  and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Robbie Inez
  Risinger.
