| WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Frances | ||
| Correne Henson Parker of Sulphur Springs, who passed away on May 14, | ||
| 2015, at the age of 92; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The daughter of David and Fannie Henson, the former | ||
| Frances Henson was born on April 1, 1923, in Pittsburg, Texas; she | ||
| exchanged the vows of matrimony with Dorman Parker on June 20, 1942, | ||
| in Weatherford, and the couple became the proud parents of four | ||
| children, Wayne, Jean, Daphney, and Marilyn; they were further | ||
| blessed as their family grew to include 9 grandchildren, 15 | ||
| great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition to embracing her roles as a wife, | ||
| mother, and homemaker, Mrs. Parker was a woman of deep faith and a | ||
| valued congregant of Grace Family Church in Sulphur Springs; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Beloved for her strength and wisdom, Frances Parker | ||
| touched the lives of many during her journey on this earth, and | ||
| those who knew her will forever hold her close in their hearts; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Frances Correne | ||
| Henson Parker and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her | ||
| family: to her son, Wayne Parker, and his wife, Clary; to her | ||
| daughters, Jean Frazier and her husband, Billy Wayne, Daphney Gail | ||
| Hood and her husband, Johnny, and Marilyn Ann White and her husband, | ||
| Roger; to her grandchildren, Rick and Jason Frazier, Lee, Colby, | ||
| and Carly Parker, Dana and Alan White, Wesley Hood, and Felecia | ||
| Heinz; to her great-grandchildren, Ruston, Macy, Caleb, and Colton | ||
| Frazier, Bradley Reinhart, Cody and Jessica Heinz, Ashlyn and | ||
| Makinna White, James, Julian, and Joseph Hood, and Joshua, Betzi, | ||
| and Clara Parker; to her great-great-grandchildren, Ashton Frazier | ||
| and Sterling Bradley Reinhart; and to her other relatives and many | ||
| friends; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Frances | ||
| Parker. | ||
