| WHEREAS, Oscar Pearson is serving as deputy mayor pro tem of | ||
| the Aubrey City Council and he is indeed deserving of recognition | ||
| for his outstanding contributions to the community; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In his role with the Aubrey City Council, | ||
| Mr. Pearson partners closely with other council members to ensure | ||
| that constituent needs are met and the city's goals, including | ||
| infrastructure improvements and other major projects, are | ||
| achieved; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of | ||
| life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts | ||
| of Oscar Pearson are helping to make Aubrey an even better place in | ||
| which to live and work; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Oscar Pearson for | ||
| his service to the City of Aubrey and extend to him sincere | ||
| appreciation for his outstanding service to the community; and, be | ||
| it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Pearson as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
