BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State of | ||
Texas, 85th Legislature, Regular Session, 2017, That House Rule 13, | ||
Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule 13, | ||
Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to | ||
resolve the differences on Senate Bill 2065 (the licensing and | ||
regulation of certain occupations and activities) to consider and | ||
take action on the following matter: | ||
House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(2), is suspended to permit the | ||
committee to omit text not in disagreement by omitting SECTION | ||
6.002 of the senate engrossment of Senate Bill 2065 and the | ||
corresponding section of the bill as the bill was amended by the | ||
house, which reads as follows: | ||
SECTION 6.002. This Act takes effect only if a specific | ||
appropriation for the implementation of the Act is provided in a | ||
general appropriations act of the 85th Legislature. | ||
Explanation: The omission is necessary to ensure the | ||
implementation of the Act as intended by the 85th Legislature, | ||
Regular Session, 2017. | ||
