R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal
  milestones, and Savannah Gonzalez is celebrating that significant
  achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the Americas High
  School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez is among the students who have
  completed their secondary education in the academy's Advanced
  Academics Program, which features specialized curricula focused on
  law, government, and public administration; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Pablo Gonzalez and Veronica
  Caballero, Ms. Gonzalez has distinguished herself as a talented
  volleyball player, and she has won a number of awards for her
  accomplishments as a student-athlete; after graduating, she plans
  to study design, film, or communications in college; and
         WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
  outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and
  friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with
  promise; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Savannah Gonzalez on the occasion
  of her graduation from the Americas High School Libertas Academy
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success and
  happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
