WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal | ||
milestones, and Savannah Gonzalez is celebrating that significant | ||
achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the Americas High | ||
School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and | ||
WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez is among the students who have | ||
completed their secondary education in the academy's Advanced | ||
Academics Program, which features specialized curricula focused on | ||
law, government, and public administration; and | ||
WHEREAS, The daughter of Pablo Gonzalez and Veronica | ||
Caballero, Ms. Gonzalez has distinguished herself as a talented | ||
volleyball player, and she has won a number of awards for her | ||
accomplishments as a student-athlete; after graduating, she plans | ||
to study design, film, or communications in college; and | ||
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this | ||
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and | ||
friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with | ||
promise; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Savannah Gonzalez on the occasion | ||
of her graduation from the Americas High School Libertas Academy | ||
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success and | ||
happiness; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Ms. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. | ||
