R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Jack Reed of Austin has provided indispensable
  support to the House Committee on Public Education and its chair,
  Dan Huberty, during the 85th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, In the course of his tenure as a committee clerk,
  Mr. Reed has ably handled a wide variety of challenging tasks while
  helping to move legislation through the committee process; in
  addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
  service, he has learned more about the Texas Legislature and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Jean Reed and Ron and Michelle Reed,
  Mr. Reed received a degree in aviation management from Oklahoma
  State University in 2011 and went on to work as an operations
  supervisor at the Midland International Air and Space Port; he is
  also an Eagle Scout and an avid fly fisher; and
         WHEREAS, Jack Reed's skill, energy, and dedication have
  greatly contributed to the efficient functioning of the House
  Committee on Public Education, and he is indeed deserving of
  special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Jack Reed for his service as a clerk to
  the House Committee on Public Education and extend to him sincere
  best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Reed as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
