WHEREAS, Jack Reed of Austin has provided indispensable | ||
support to the House Committee on Public Education and its chair, | ||
Dan Huberty, during the 85th Legislative Session; and | ||
WHEREAS, In the course of his tenure as a committee clerk, | ||
Mr. Reed has ably handled a wide variety of challenging tasks while | ||
helping to move legislation through the committee process; in | ||
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public | ||
service, he has learned more about the Texas Legislature and the | ||
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
WHEREAS, The son of Jean Reed and Ron and Michelle Reed, | ||
Mr. Reed received a degree in aviation management from Oklahoma | ||
State University in 2011 and went on to work as an operations | ||
supervisor at the Midland International Air and Space Port; he is | ||
also an Eagle Scout and an avid fly fisher; and | ||
WHEREAS, Jack Reed's skill, energy, and dedication have | ||
greatly contributed to the efficient functioning of the House | ||
Committee on Public Education, and he is indeed deserving of | ||
special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Jack Reed for his service as a clerk to | ||
the House Committee on Public Education and extend to him sincere | ||
best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it | ||
further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Reed as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
